Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Oricalo (“Oricalo”, “we”, “us”). They cover your use of our website and apps, which we call the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Oricalo helps you plan your money. You can record income and expenses, set budgets, and see how each month is likely to look. It is a planning tool, not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. See “No financial advice” below.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract.
Give correct details and keep your password safe. You are responsible for anything done using your account.
Tell us promptly at info@oricalo.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Subscriptions, trials & billing

Free trial - new accounts may get a free trial. We show you how many days are left.
Paid plans - after the trial you need a subscription to keep using the paid features. Payments are handled by Stripe and repeat every month or every year, whichever you chose.
Renewal - your subscription renews by itself at the end of each period, unless you cancel before it ends.
Cancellation - you can cancel whenever you like. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and then payments stop.
Price changes - we may change prices, and we will give you reasonable notice. A new price starts at your next renewal.
Refunds - payments are not refundable, except where the law says otherwise. If something went wrong, contact us and we will try to help.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

break the law or infringe others' rights;
access the Service through unauthorised means, or disrupt or overload it;
reverse-engineer, copy or resell the Service except as the law allows;
upload malware or attempt to access other users' data.

5. Your data & content

The financial data you enter stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to store and process it so the Service can work. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Please keep your own copies of anything important.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and branding, belongs to Oricalo and the people we license from. These terms give you none of those rights, beyond using the Service as intended.

7. No financial advice

Oricalo gives you tools and estimates to plan with. It is not a replacement for professional financial, accounting, tax or legal advice. The figures are estimates based on what you enter. Any decision you make using the Service is your own.

8. Availability & changes

We work to keep the Service running, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted or never have errors. We may add, change or remove features, and we may do maintenance that limits access for a while.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we give no implied warranties, including that it is fit for a particular purpose or that the estimates are accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, Oricalo is not liable for indirect losses, or for lost profits, lost savings or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for fraud. Your consumer rights under the law are not affected.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. You can also delete your account and its data yourself, from Settings → Delete account. Deleting happens straight away, cannot be undone, and cancels any active subscription. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data afterwards. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or to protect the Service or other people using it. When your access ends, so do the rights these terms gave you.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the “last updated” date, and for important changes we will tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using the Service after a change, that means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms follow the law of the place where our business is based. That does not affect any consumer protections you have where you live. Disputes go to the courts there, again without affecting those consumer rights.
